On a Drift-diffusion System for Semiconductor Devices
In this note we study a fractional Poisson-Nernst-Planck equation modeling a semiconductor device. We prove several decay estimates for the Lebesgue and Sobolev norms in one, two and three dimensions. We also provide the first term of the asymptotic expansion as t → ∞.
متن کاملSynthesis and physicochemical properties of CuMn2O4 nanoparticles; a potential semiconductor for photoelectric devices
CuMn2O4 nanoparticles, a semiconducting materials with tunable functionalities in solid oxide fuel cell, was successfully synthesized via a sol-gel method using its respective metal cations sources i.e. Cu2+ and Mn2+ in an appropriate complexing agent. The vibrational frequencies below 1000 cm-1 of the obtained materials confirmed the formation of metal-oxygen (M-O:Cu-O, Mn-O) bond in the sample...
متن کاملFailure Analysis System for Submicron Semiconductor Devices
OVERVIEW: Failure analysis of semiconductor device is becoming increasingly difficult as VLSI technology evolves toward smaller features and semiconductor device structures become more complex. Especially considering that the defective area obtained through diagnosis pin-pointing faulty sites is not the same size as the area subjected to physical analysis, and this disparity becomes more pronou...

متن کاملSemiconductor Devices: Moore Marches On
he tremendous growth in semiconductor technology has been based on the well-behaved Si−SiO2 system. In 1965, Gordon Moore, cofounder of Intel and arguably APL’s most famous alumnus, saw the future. His prediction, now popularly known as Moore’s Law, states that the number of transistors on a chip doubles approximately every 2 years. Up until now this “law” has been followed by evolutionary prog...
